BAYERN STARS WOULD TEST NAGELSMANN – BECKENBAUER
German football legend Franz Beckenbauer has stated that the veteran players in the Bayern Munich squad would test the managerial credentials of young tactician Julian Nagelsmannat the Allianz Arena.

Franz Beckenbauer was a big fan of his appointment as the newBayern boss and he believes that the young German tactician has all what it takes to be a success at his new club. According to Franz Beckenbauer via Sports Bild, Nagelsmann will need to deal with the Bayern veterans in the right way to get the best out of the team.
Beckenbauer said that Bayern made a good choice with Nagelsmann. Apart from Nagelsmann, Liverpool manager JurgenKlopp and his Chelsea counterpart Thomas Tuchel were all linked with the job at the Allianz Arena.
On the imminent exit of current manager Hans-Dieter Flick, Franz Beckenbauer said that it was the right time for him to move on as it would be difficult for him to replicate the success of the past one year.
Flick won six trophies in around a year having been named as the replacement for the sacked Niko Kovac last season. He was able to recover a bad start to the season for Bayern last term. Flick led the club to the German Cup title, the German Bundesliga title and the Champions League title at the end of last season. He has added four more trophies this season.
The Bayern boss will leave the club at the end of this season to take up the Germany national team manager job after the European Championship this summer. Reports claimed that he has agreed a three-year deal with the German Football Association (DFB) until 2024.
