June 18th, 2020

Franz Beckenbauer is Jurgen Klinsmann’s idol. He was just ten years old when Franz lifted the World Cup in the year 1974. In 1990, Jurgen Klinsmann himself raised the World Cup for Germany in Rome. He got his sponsorship by Beckenbauer who was the Kaiser and Coach of the German football team which was just unified. When asked about the moment, Klinsmann answered that the German team in 1990 was a reflection of Franz Beckenbauer in several ways. He also said that the preparation could be compared to the millimeter, but the ambition of the team was at its maximum.

According to Klinsmann, there was no area of doubt about the coach and the team was critical about themselves. The whole team focused on winning the World Cup and nothing else. Beckenbauer has had a very simple life, but the best one. This has inspired all and he still inspires Jurgen Klinsmann very much.

NEW DAWN FOR GERMAN FOOTBALL POWERHOUSE

September 19th, 2019

Bayern Munich are set to experience a new dawn as Board Chief and Club president are set to exit the club. UliHoeness informed the German football powerhouse that he would step down in November as the club president.

Hoeness has been involved with the club since the 1970s as a teenage player, working his way up to become one of the most revered persons in German football history. He was involved in Bayern winning 27 Bundesliga titles and five European titles.

He had a fierce reputation, still does but the hypocritical part of his story haunts him. He was convicted of tax evasion, despite always insisting on being clean, in 2014. He served 21 months in jail before being released in February 2016.

His popularity was still very high that he strolled back to the helm of the club and was re-elected later that year unopposed. Following the extensive criticism of the club and the somewhat stagnation, Hoeness has decided to give room to others. The chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge will train Oliver Kahn, 50, until 2021 before he hands over.

Club legend Kahn will sign a five year deal with the club, joining the board on Jan 1 2020 to understudy Rummenigge before the handover. Kahn has business education, and experience in football management and media.

In the next elections in November, Hoeness is expected to hand over to former Adidas boss Herbert Hainer. Hainer and Kahn are expected to help the club transform to the next level, attracting investments and endorsements, as well providing world class administration.

Currently, Niko Kovac is the Bayern coach and is going to continue in this position till 2019. Beckenbauer said that he (Klopp) will return one day and will manage his team. Beckenbauer considers him as one of the World’s best coaches currently available.

The German footballer recalled the Dortmund team of Klopp and considered it as his beginning and he has, since then, refined himself till today after the Liverpool victory. He believes that being a coach of a premier league team is much harder than that of a Bundesliga League. Being a Bundesliga team coach is a much easier task as there are less responsibilities and much assistance which does not deprive you of your strength and gives room to work on it.
