Sami Khedira, the Juventus midfielder recently made a statement that he has plans of continuing his career in Germany till the time Joachim Low, Germany boss wants him. There have been calls made for the winners of the 2014 World Cup to inject new blood due to group stage exit in Russia during the tournament this year. Mario Gomez and Mesut Ozil have taken a step backward.

The ex Real Madrid player successfully capped for 77 times since the year 2009. He has now moved to assure his determination and dedication to the German Football Federation and also to the National team. Khedira wrote on social media that he continues to believe that performance and success of a team should be on top of the list. The national team should be created by country’s best players and a free choice must be given to the national coach.

The player should represent his country in addition to its federation and this should continue as an honor for all active players to play for the country, the team and its association. He said that if there are better players he would accept it as he understands. However, if he is nominated as a coach, he has an impression that he could assist the DFB. He would continue travelling with joy and pride and has a will towards the national team. He would do everything so as to contribute to Germany’s success.

If this is not sufficient, he would continue to work on himself. This is what he owes to his sport as people have always supported and believed in him. The midfielder has turned his attention once again towards the club and would be alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese star is all geared up for his Series A debut along with his transfer from Champions League holders.
